Step One

Product Scope

The Product Scope is an intensive, 7-day, structured process. It all starts with an immersive focus session where you’ll sit down with product experts and ex startup founders to dive into the product vision from a business standpoint. From this point, we will create the right list of user stories for the design of your Minimum Viable Product.

Key Screens

We start by creating the most important screens for your product. This allows you to see exactly how your product will look and then approve the design.

Step Five

Development

After your app is fully designed and approved we start the implementation phase. During this phase we progressively deliver the modules of the app, so you can test them during the process.

Design Brief

The design brief starts with a product scope – either created by us or provided by you – with all the user stories, UX personas or list of features and stakeholder analysis.

Step Four

All Screens

Once you are happy and approve the Key Screens we extend the design to the remaining screens and deliver the full product UX/UI.

Step Six

Test & Go

When the app is fully developed we enter a testing phase during which we’re in constant contact to fix major bugs and make sure your MVP is ready to go to market.

User Stories

Optional: We get into the mind of your product’s ideal user and create the story of the journey they take through the product. We know from experience that creating user stories is better than lists of features because it keeps the user at the center of the process.

Key BPMN

Optional: BPMN (Business Process Model & Notation) is a flow chart method that models the steps of a planned business process from end to end. This is usually needed at this stage when we have complex workflows. We design the key flows to be sure that we’re not missing any important detail in the main flows, and that we’re in sync with the client’s vision.

Tech Spike

Optional: When the project is so challenging on the tech side that the whole project could fail because of a technology bottleneck, we propose to do a Tech Spike. A viability check where we only focus on building a tiny proof of concept that proves the technology approach is viable. This is a risk mitigation procedure that allows the Project to move to the MVP building phase on solid ground.

Business Model

Optional: When the business model is either undefined or unclear we also propose to study the most viable Business Model for the product. This study starts with looking at direct competitors, then parallel or similar cases, then we run simulations to then, together with the client, evaluate the best approach.

Stakeholders Analysis

Optional: Our product decisions are based on a structured rationale. We need to know all the stakeholders in-depth in order to help to guide decisions about the product and also to help to prioritize the key User Stories for the MVP.
